Common questions
Why does a lounge say I'm in when the front desk said no?
Layover uses each lounge's published rules, checked against the operator's own pages. Lounges can still turn people away when they're full, and many airline clubs need a same-day boarding pass. Please email us the details so we can check the listing.
Which cards and memberships are supported?
Chase Sapphire Reserve, Amex Platinum, Priority Pass Select, Capital One Venture X, Delta SkyMiles Reserve, United Club Infinite and Citi AAdvantage Executive. Turn on the ones you have in My Access. Each lounge also lists other ways in, like airline status or a premium cabin ticket.
What does "Flying Delta today" do?
Some cards only get you into Delta Sky Clubs, and sometimes Escape Lounges, when you have a same-day Delta flight. Turn it on and those lounges switch from "conditional" to "included".
Why are some lounges dimmed?
At airports where terminals don't connect after security, like JFK, choose your departure terminal in the filter row. Lounges you'd need to clear security again to reach are dimmed.
Does Layover work offline?
Yes. Every lounge, its rules and its main photo are stored on your phone. Extra photos load when you have a connection and are saved for next time.
How do I reset the app?
Turn off your cards in My Access, or delete and reinstall Layover to clear everything.
Lounge photos
Lounge photos are credited to their owners in the app. If you own a photo and would like it credited differently or removed, email support@layoverlounges.com and we'll act on it promptly.
